*) LAMBERT'S is a great restaurant and music venue in downtown Austin. They just won the Austin Music Award's Best New Music Venue at SXSW and we are pleased to be part of the music there. Great food and primo performance space with very interesting acts every night of the week. Every Sunday I'm in town I will be doing an organ trio with Brannen Temple on drums, me on B3 and Ephraim Owens on trumpet or various other players of Austin's finest for each of us when we are not in town. It is on the corner of Guadalupe and 2nd downtown. We play from 7ish - 9:30ish or thereabouts... no cover...

**) LOUIE 106 is a very nice restaurant I play on Wednesdays when in town. It's right next to the Driskell Hotel on 6th Street near Congress. I play a lot of Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Jobin, Keith Jarrett and originals (and have been known to play Rhapsody In Blue too) on a nice acoustic piano between 6:30-9:30pm.

***) The Famous Elephant Room Jazz Jam with Mike Mordecai has been going now for 19 years in Austin, 12 at the Elephant Room. It's a great way to meet and hear the best players in Austin and you never know who's going to show up. I'm the house pianist every other Monday and am there from 9:30-1:30.
